FARM TRIP WITH NGI

Some time ago in 2012, while the temperatures where still pleasant to walk around, we went on a farm trip organized by The Natural Gourmet Institute. We started the day at a farm, pulling out carrots and admiring the chickens, then we went for wine tasting, followed by a visit to a goat farm to taste (and buy) some goat cheese. Then we head up to visit a local beer producer and we got to taste some of their beers. To end up this fantastic trip we visited Widows Hole Oyster Co., an oyster farm, run by Mike and his family, who where generous enough to let us spend the afternoon with them eating oysters and drinking white wine near the ocean…Was I in heaven? I think we all were.
